  1. okay, he is probably allergic to either the bedding, or the grass... i have two guinea pigs and i use this super absorbant cell bedding... but i think out of all you mentioned, it is probably the grass... and you can tell what kind of hay it is if you look on the package... there are generally two kinds, timothy and alfalfa... timothy hay is much more nutritious and yummy for the pig. but i would go get him checked out at the store, just to make sure he isn't sick or anything because that can happen... you don't want anything to happen to him... best of luck with your new pig :)

  2. Do you have the AC on?  Is he near a vent?  If there is a draft near him he could be catching a cold.  You don't want that to happy to the little guy.

  3. maybe the problem is the place u keeping it

move it to somewhere else and see what happen

    good luck

  4. A checkup couldn't hurt if he's being really sneezy. I'd also recommend adopting him a same s*x friend since guinea pigs are social and shouldn't be kept alone.

I'd nix the vitamin C drops as they are totally unnecessary. If you are feeding a proper guinea pig pellet (they are all vitamin c fortified), hay, and daily veggies, the vitamins are not needed. The vitamins tend to break down quickly in water, encourage bacterial growth (you need to change the water at least twice daily), and alter the flavor of the water (which can put pigs off of drinking).

    Good luck.

  5. my guinea pig sneezes ALL the time!

you dont really have to worry

only worry if he starts to get gooey stuff around their eyes or are not eating.

They are probibly just be getting used to their new enviroment.

but just in case, watch him. and if they are sneezing around a certain item, then take it away. and after like 9 days ort so, if they are still sneezing, i would take them to the vet. just to make sure!

also, try taking one thing away at a time for a couple of days and see if they stop for a certain thing.
