  1. Ok, its still stressful for her to become pregnant again straight after giving birth... even if you do wait a night before putting her back in.

The male should be seperated from the babies, and the babies need their mum for the next 4 weeks until they are weaned.

If you are going to breed your piggies you should give her a decent rest in between litters (like, 3 months at least) but if you dont want her to be lonely why dont you get your male neutered? He will still need to be seperated for a month before he can go in with your female without risk of impregnating her- but thats perfect if she cant be put in with him for a month while caring for the babies.

  2. Separate her, definitely. She should be in the bigger cage, though, if she's going to have babies. It can be very hard on a guinea mom's system to have babies and care for them, she really shouldn't be bred again any time soon if you can help it.

  4. My guinea pig got pregnant last year and I separated her from the male to give birth. Once she's got babies to look after she wont be lonely, then if u are selling them all, after they are gone you can put the adults together slowly. If you do not intend to have a giant army of baby guinea pigs then you should take yours to the vet to be sorted out because they breed like mad.
