That is absolutely fine. :) Some hamsters just sleep differently than others. I have two that sometimes sleep on their backs.

I think it is perfectly normal. Each hamster has its own style of sleeping and perhaps your hamster has decided on this style. Don't they look cute sleeping this way? :)

However sometimes hamsters are known for sleeping upside down when they feel very hot. Check if the room temperature is amiable for the hamster or else shift the cage to a cooler area, otherwise there is nothing to worry about as long as there are no other signs of sickness.
