  1. Well hamsters are nocturnal, so if she's sleeping the entire day and only waking up at night then she's normal.  Sometimes when they're babies they'll be up sometimes during the day, but once they mature they usually don't wake up during the day and may get grumpy if you try to wake them.  Also, do you clean her cage often?  b/c if not she may have a store of food in her cage where she makes her nest.  Sometimes they do that and then they eat what they stored up and not what's in their bowl.

Also it could just be old age depending on how old your hamster is.  They usually only live 2-3 years at the most, so if it's over 1 year old it could just be slowing down because of age.

  2. she may be stressed. like did you get a new pet? or are has there been something going on in your house lately? something she wouldnt be used to?

also your best bet would be try feeding her some new treats and maybe some new toys this might get her up and moving.

    hope this helped

  3. If this is not normal behavior your hamster could have wet-tail.  Check for a wet-tail and see if the poo is solid.  If it is not go to the pet store right away and buy medicine for wet-tail.  If it is not wet-tail, the medicine will not hurt her.  Wet-tail is caused by stress to the hamster.  Also, it is possible that she has a ring-worm.  You have to keep an eye on her and make sure she is drinking and at least eating SOME!

  4. She may have eaten something she shouldnt have plz visit my website to find out what foods ham can eat and what they shouldnt eat: my-ham-dolce.piczo.com and it also has ALOT of stuff about hamsters
