My High School's JV Field Hockey Team Is...?

Filled with girls, even though on the website it just says "Field Hockey JV." I click on it and it shows 2007's image of nothing but GIRLS. I keep convincing my dad its a girl sport. But I don't know if I should ask if they need a goalie. I am 5'9 180 pounds (mainly muscle though) and hate running. I figured that goalie would be a great position for me. But I am just wondering if Field Hockey is a girl sports, and would it make me look g*y if I try out for an all girls team?

In North America, it is largely considered a woman's sport, and women's teams are more common... Many high schools and universities in North America have women's teams, whereas relatively few have mens or mixed teams...

In other parts of the world, it is often played by either s*x, be it on gender specific teams, or in a mixed league...
