My Home theater reads a Wrong Region DVD..help..?

Question

the specs of my Toshiba Home theater only allows region 5..but some months ago, i was still able to to play region 3 (since am in asian country)..and presently the my dvd player reads the region 3 dvd disc as wrong region.

can this still be possible to operate again in region 3 just by configuring in remote control?

no, u need a universal dvd player. on ur computer tho, most windows media players allow u to change the region so u can watch it there.. but it's usually not possible to change ur dvd player....

it also may be that the dvd u watched a couple of months was both region 3 and 5 or universal
