Question:

My Honda lawnmower (I'm pretty sure it's a Buffalo) Made lots of smoke then died, help?

I was mowing the lawn, and there was a bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust to the side of the lawnmower, which gradually got thicker and thicker, until it became chokingly thick and the lawnmower died. I added more petrol and oil, but the lawnmower will not start.

It's a fairly old machine and it's probably an air filter or something, but I have no idea where it is or how to fix it. Any help, please?

  1. check the oil level is not over full, makes sure your  air filter is clean,   as its an old motor it may be a bit sad in the rings and valves  and a blocked air filter  will cause an engine  to suck air from where ever  it can. but chances are it's  given up
