My Hp Pavilion zd8000 is

My Hp Pavilion zd8000 is having display problems. i bought it a couple of weeks ago from a coworker and he claims it only needs a driver. and some tech's have told me it may be the videocard. and that i would have to replace the mother board. well, obviously since i bought it used, it should assumed that i can not afford a major repair on this unit. so im going from the cheapest to the most expencive here. the driver is what i am having a hard time locating. i have call HP tech support. they say that they dont have it. what can i do?
