  1. helen spring and angel are right.

up north you should be fine with regards to property as prices are generally lower. plenty of room to negotiate the price as plenty of people are trying to sell their houses.

very best of luck to you and your family

  2. why worry immigrants get free houses and everything else

  3. It depends on whereabout in the UK you will be. Up in the North West that is a fantastic wage, I would give anything for that kind of wage but down in the South may be a different story. You do get more help with things like housing benefit in the south though.

    good luck

  4. In my opinion you could live on it certainly, but you would struggle to afford decent housing if it is your only wage. You would certainly struggle to buy a house anyway. Good luck!

  5. if its your only wage, i wouldnt. especially if you were thinking of buying inthe southersn areas of the UK.

  6. If/when you have children, then an income of £35000 wont be enough especially if you dont want to send them to State schools and opt for private schools. Property prices and general cost of living is very high here whereas health service is c**p. Dont even try to match the cost of living with the quality of living in this country

  7. Its a good wage, better then quite a few peoples. But it depends on your location, you'd seriously struggle in london and surrounding areas but up north or down south you could most certainly live on that.
