My IBM Thinkpad T40 won't download anything?

I'm trying to dl and install Avast Home Edition.

I've already uninstalled my other antivirus. Whenever I click to download, it starts, but then stops shortly after and won't download anymore. It gets up to about 20 percent or so. What could be wrong?

Have you signed up for a key on Avast Home Edition, if not do it, give you real email address to the company and they will send you a key.

It might be your internet connection (your server) or the avast traffic download is very busy.

Try again in a different time.

Reinstall your old anti virus and you can download a trial version of McAfee Virus Scan at www.mcafee.com. Go to www.symantec.com for details about Norton Internet Security. I've used Norton Internet Security for one year and have found that it does an excellent job of blocking viruses, adware, spyware, and attempts from hackers to access my computer. And good luck.
