My IGNORANT acquaintance...? would you agree/disagree?

just created a cause on Facebook called "F*** The Police."

now, he is one of those kids who b****es and moans about the government and doesn't know ANYTHING about it. and he smokes pot while he's at it.

this is the description of the group:

To Stop The Violence And Sensless Death Caused By The Police

1. That police have to many rights civilians dont and they abuse them

2. That they beat innocent people

uh, yeah. so, he's pretty ignorant.

Sounds like a typical uneducated idiot. I would love to see the slacker in a uniform and see how long he would last.

People like this anger me. Police Officers are people. Just like you and your friend. The ignorance of your friend not only appalls me, but saddens me as well. Every profession has "bad apples". I get that. There are doctors that are sued for malpractice, but that doesn't stop you from seeking medical treatment from all OTHER doctors. There are politicians who break the law and that doesn't stop you from electing other politicians. The point is; there are people every where that make poor choices. There are SOME and I stress SOME police officers that make wrong decisions, but those select and very few do not warrant the creation of a group that lumps all as a whole. What amazes me is that your friend will take such a stand, with such bold statements and accusations, yet I guarantee if he were to get into a wreck, he wouldn't hesitate to contact his local police to file a report; or if some one were to break into his house, he wouldn't stop and NOT call the police to file a report. What if someone were to break into his home, while he was there? Oh- he hates police so he probably wouldn't call for help. It is funny how some people only want police officers to do their jobs when it is convenient... I am glad that you recognize where your friend is wrong. That says something about you. My suggestion... find a new friend. It doesn't look like this one has too much to offer.
