I Need Help

I have Verizon Fios. The main "hub/router" or whatever it's called is connected to the computer in my kitchen, the internet works in there. i have another internet cord from the router to another room with ANOTHER ROUTER. one internet cord is hooked up to a computer and the other is hooked up to the xbox. BOTH computers work and are online as well as the xbox... HOWEVER, until recently, my 360 hasn't been able to "find an ip address" or it will randomly find it, but not find the "DNS" or the one below the IP address..... Whats going on with my xbox?

  2. Well first, make sure your xbox is setup to find an IP automatically in network options. It's highly unlikely that your xbox is the problem. You need to login to each of your routers (type in 192.168.X.X. or whatever into the address bar and just type "admin into the password field) and see if they are setup for gaming or can handle so many connections at once. Make sure there arent any static IP address settings. Make everything automatic. Also what might help is to go into your router options and turn on UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). It makes gaming alot easier and most routers support it. Hope this helped and if you get it working, my gamertag is Shadowrydaboi3. I have alot of games.

  3. I had the same problem with mine. What you need to do is unplug the rooter for about 5 min. and wait. After 5 min. plug back in and it should find if not wait about an hour then try again if it dont work after that idk what to do.
