My IQ score is 139?

I took an IQ test and got a 139. I'm 23 years old. About 7 years ago I got a 129. How smart am i compared to the general population? I read that 140 is the genius level. Is this true?

 140 + is usually considered to be 'genius'.  but that's genius potential rather than genius.  if you have IQ of 145 and just eat burgers all day then sleep all night you're not going to magically come up with some new theorum.  You still have to apply yourself, without focus it is wasted anyhow.

 

As for genius - the term -  Educational psychologists won't call it that.  they will decribe just as SD's from the norm / as above average, etc.  A proper test by educational psychologists is the only meaningful application of Iq tests, online ones don't give any real indication
