My Infocus X2 Projector has an error, it has a red static light and no image... help??

Question

When i plug my infocus x2 projector in and switch it on the fan kicks in & the green light comes on for approximatley 10 seconds this green light then turns into a static red light and the bulk doesnt kick in and no image is displayed??

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be or how to fix this?? its driving me crazy!

It could be overheating as well.  Make sure all the filters are clean.

sometimes a red light in a projector means that the lamp is loose if you change it recently or that is burn and need to change it. but the red light might be blinking with 2 seconds intervals check carefully it can have from 1 to 5 blinking and there 5 different problems, you can check your manual or go here download the reference guide see page 44.
