My Inherited Minolta Maxxum HTsi will not take pics. It just reads the film 800 and blinks 0.. Help please.?

Take the camera to a repair store and let them give you an evaluation and an estimate for the repairs.   It might not be much...   but no one here is going to be able to diagnose the problem from what you  are explaining.  You would need a camera repair tech to even be close to the right answer.  One place you are not going to find a repair tech is answering any of these diagnosing camera malfunctioning questions.  They get paid for that at work....  get nothing here.    Hope I was able to help turn you in the right direction.
