My Internet Explorer has suddenly stopped holding login info. Have I picked up a virus?

For example, I have to re-login to Yahoo every time I open a browser window, even though the save login info box is checked. Sometimes I lose my login in the middle of using a program, like on Answers. Is this a virus, and if so what do I do about it?

  1. Maybe you have a program installed that removes your cookies? If so this program could be deleting your cookies and removing your saved info.

  2. Well this is most probably spyware but you should be thinking if your home page has changed or your internet pages load slower than normal. If so it probably is spyware and to remove it download and install spybot search and destroy. and scan your PC if you find anything just remove it if you dontfind anything scan for viruses using your anti-virus and if you don't have one get AVG free edition it also has a linkscanner to stop you clicking on dangerous links. you can also try ad aware 2008. hope I helped :-)
