My Ipod Touch isn't working..?

Question

the little thing to rewind or fastforward isn't working.

you can actually move it on the screen but it won't go in the song. it just goes back to its original spot.

i just got it this saturday and i have yet to drop it.

is there anyway i can fix it or completely restart it to fix it or something?

If you just bought it, I'm sure you're under warranty. I would take it to or call your local apple store and see if they can do anything about it. If that doesn't work, then I would just return it and get a new one. It definitely isn't normal for your touch to do that.

You should be able to restart it [idk how on those because I have a classic not a touch] or you could take it back and get a new one.

reset it by holding the home button and the lock button together for 6-10 seconds then check it out
