My Ipod has 16 gigs of other data on it, but when i try to delete it the data wont go away?

Did you try deleting the data from itunes? Casue it should work!

Your ipod might have viruses...I'd let a professional see that.

you could try restoring it and then putting back all your music and stuff.  But thats just such a hassle

Are you sure that when you update/sync your ipod, you go to your ipods settings and click "sync" ?
