My Ipod has broken :( ???

Question

I have the previous ipod nano and its broken,

it wont come off hold and when i put it in the computer on itunes it says it was corrupt.

now it wont even recognise i have my ipod in :(

what should i do????

My ipod nano broke and we took it to curry's (UK) and they sent it away to apple free of charge and they sent back a replacement. However, you will obviously lose all your music so make sure you've a back-up on your computer.

Slide the hold toggle to off.

Then hold down the centre button and the one above it, and hold them till the apple symbol appears, you may have to do this a couple of times.

If this doesn't work, go on the apple website, they have other things you can try!

um maybe its frozen so if it is it should unfreeze if you hold down menu and the middle button

Hmm. mine did that.

I suggest firstly you try going to ipod updater and completely erasing everything off the ipod and then restoring it.

If it still doesn't recognise it, you'll have to uninstall itunes and then re-install. I suggest re-installing the version you have now rather than the new version, because it might not recognise your ipod cos it's old.

if it's still broke, either get it mended for free if it's under warranty, pay £15 if it isn't, orget a new one.   :)
