Question:

My Ipod has sunburn?!?

I have a pink Ipod mini which I brought about 2-3 years ago. I had it sent back once because the battery was messed up within its year warantee, and the battery is still odd but it works.

So recently I went the south of france and it was usually v hot, I may have left my Ipod out in the sun for short periods of time...and on the flight home I tried to play a song, and discovered that all the songs by certain artists will not play.

If I select the song the play screen comes up and then it just immediately reverts back to the play menu, without playing the song. When I got home I plugged my ipod into the computer and it re-syncd the unplayable songs.

However this only lasted about a week and the problem recurred so I'm not re-syncing it again...why is it doing this, and is it because of the sun exposure? How can I fix it?

  1. Return the iPod to it's default settings and then try it again. If not, I would suggest you buy a new iPod and don't leave it in the sun too long. ;)

  2. Buy a new one and don't leave it laying out where it can be harmed.

  3. I think its time for a new ipod leaving delicate electronics out in the sun is never a wise idea
