I think this is goodbye..is there any way to get inside there and fix it, or is it hopeless now.

  1. sorry... im going to put up the only thing that you can do...

    www.apple.com/support

  2. http://www.ifixit.com sells (ALL) iPod batteries for 15 bucks. They are EXTREMELY easy to install yourself, you'll have it done in five minutes.

The instructions are on their website (same page as the battery.)

I recently bought iPod batteries and a new headphone jack from them and found them very reliable and they have excellent service.

    Good luck!

  3. This is what it says on apple.com:

If your iPod requires service only because the battery’s ability to hold an electrical charge has diminished, Apple will replace your iPod for a service fee of $59, plus $6.95 shipping.
