  3. It is a word that has not mean in italian. It should mean "little hats"

  4. I am italian and it means "little hats"

  5. angel hair pasta

  6. 1508 Cappellini's in Italy (registered in the Italian White Pages) .

The name means "little hats" and the origin comes from nicknames relating to those who have had to do with, make, sell, repair or even looks like(!) a hats.

  7. It's a kind of pasta . But since "cappelli" also means hats, cappellini is a diminutive so it means "little hats". Anyway here we don't give much importance to the meaning of surnames (unless they really are funny =D). Ciao ciao!

  8. little hats!!!i'm italian:-)

  9. The surname "CAPPELLINI" is an italian surname, common in norther and center Italy. The town when the Cappellinis are more are Milan, Rome, Florence, Pistoia and Como. The origin should have been in Pistoia and Como, probably 2 different families, not relatives. Then from Pistoia they should have emigrated to Florence and to Rome (in Rome during a period of tuscanian popes, that were bringing their relatives, servants, workers with them), from Como to Milan.

    The meaning is "little hats".

The cappellinis from Pistioa are appearing first in the 1681 in Bottegone, a village of about 6000 people that lies 5 km from Pistoia and 30 km from Florence.

  10. Cappellini means "little hats"
