she is getting the best present just by going back to italy! besides in Italy they only have the best so she can get whatever she wants from there and better. I would suggest giving her euros.

I would get her a nice T-shirt (maybe of some universities) o a sweatshirt... Anyway something that will remind her of you and your city...

Something small since she will probably have already a lot of stuff to carry home!
