My Italian lawyer presented me with a gift of Borettane Onions; in which dish can I use them?

borettane onions are a typical kind of sweet onions coming from the south of italy... if they are little, you can just have them as appetizers with slices of bread...

or you can put them into a salad and so on... delicious!

pan fry some diced proscuitto until browned, add the onions and cook until they brown and soften.  when theyre completely cooked through, deglaze with some nice balsamic. delicious dish.
