Ok so I was on the internet and all of a sudden it went off I didn't think anything of it because the battery was low. So I plugged it in as usual and check on it in like 3 or 4 hours. When I returned it wouldn't turn on. I tried restarting it alot. you know with the sleep/wake button and the home button its not working! Please help!

  1. If iPod touch continues to freeze or not respond after you reset it

Reset iPod touch settings. From the Home screen choose Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. All your preferences are reset, but your data and media are left untouched.

If that doesn't work, erase all content on iPod touch. From the Home screen choose Settings > General > Reset > "Erase All Content and Settings." All your preferences are reset, and all your data and media are removed from iPod touch.

If that doesn't work, restore the iPod touch software. See "Updating and Restoring iPhone or iPod touch Software."

  2. ok just charge it then leave it alone without anything connected to it for a day or so..then check on it..if that doesn't work then you obviously have to go to the apple store...nothing you can do really as long as you haven't dropped it or have a plastic cover over the screen so the grease of your fingers won't ruin it then I'm sure it's just a defected ipod..and that's not your fault it's theres..they should give you a new one... or else slap that bEACh =]

  3. plug it in to the computer

if that doesnt do anything restore it
