My JNC SSF-F310BL screen not showing anything

MY JNC SSF-F310BL is not showing anything on the screen. when trying to play a song nothing comes out of the earphone.its been like this for a while, i couldn't return it to the shop, because i had lost my proof of purchaseI'm only using it as a memory stick nowwhen pressing the buttons on the display changes shows different coloursPlease HELP
