No, he is young enough to get used to kennels, just take along something with your scent on to comfort him, and make sure you visit the kennels first to ensure he will be well cared for - contact local dog people for recommendations

I love dogs and I do a lot of dog -minding ...he could stay at my house with my Jack Russell "Linley" .. they could have some dog-on-dog action . . .
