My Kingdom in a good position to win Stobart Management Development Program Handicap
My Kingdom seems to be in a comfortable position to claim the Stobart Management Development Program Handicap at Chester in England on Friday, June 29, 2012. The class-4 winner will walk away with a cash prize of £4,852.
The going will be good in the 7 furlong 2 yard race, which will start at 19:55 GMT, and there will be 12 runners up against each other.
Although there are some experienced horses lined up for action in the race, the momentum seems to be with My Kingdom, who has won the confidence of the bookies today. His recent form has been impressive, which will encourage the bettors to risk some money
on him.
The seasoned runner made his debut back in 2008, but was unable to get the attention of anyone due to his lacklustre performances in the first couple of races. However, he caused an upset in his third outing at Brighton, where he was one of the least favourites
to win. He entered the event with a starting price of 40 to 1, but displayed extremely good speed.
The Irish competitor kept on delivering some decent results afterwards, but saw many ups and downs in the 2011 season. There was a significant improvement in his form at the start of this year and he seems to get stronger by every race.
In his previous five races, the Ian Williams’ trainee did not drop out of the top two, winning once and finishing runner up on the other times.
Overall, the six-year-old gelding has entered 42 events, winning six of them whereas finished runner up on eight times. In addition to that, he has secured the third place on a couple of occasions.
King´s Best’s son out of Nebraas is carrying a good momentum right now, as he finished runner up in his previous outing. He will be accompanied by seasoned rider, Martin Harley, in the race.
On the other hand, there will be a good chance for Tamareen to fight for victory, as he is carrying the winning momentum. He has participated in 22 races, winning four of them whereas finished runner up on three times. Moreover, he has secured the third
spot once as well, which shows that he is a good runner.
