It is a single control bathroom faucet and the problem is not the core diverter assembly. it seems to be from the point where water would enter the spigot from below the divertor core.

  1. Look at the end of the faucet (where the water comes out).  The end should s***w off (it'll take some effort, but if you dry it well and have dry hands, it will probably come eventually).  Inside of that is a little plastic screen.  Make sure gunk hasn't accumulated behind it.  If it has, just clean it out with some water, and you should be good to go.

Every once in a while, a pipe somewhere in the house throws of some chunks of debris, and this is usually where they end up.

  2. have you clean the inter screen?

  3. you cartridge may have a stuck balancing valve or anti scald.  try replacing the cartridge first.
