My LAN connection does not register under network connections?

my computer is a fujitsu tablet pc running on windows xp.

when i go to start ->connect to->show all connections ->, only my wireless icon thing is there. i cannot use LAN even after i plug in the LAN wire. can anyone please help me

  1. you need the driver. go to your mfg website and find it
