My Lacrosse strings keep freying?

Question

It's not my mesh that keeps ripping, it's my lacrosse sidewall and scoop strings that keep tearing. Anyone have any suggestions so I don't have to keep restringing it?

take a lighter and melt all the fraying then l**k your fingers and use them to make the burnt part small and stay together and it should keep from fraying
