My Laptop suddenly takes 15

My Laptop suddenly takes 15 minutes to turn on from the loading screening (where it says acer after its turned on and the blue loading bar is going) and simple tasks are now slower, such as the media player cannot play songs without it skipping, the mouse lags and other software seems to take longer to load.
