My Leopard Gecko just layed an egg...The Mother buried it...What do i do?

A few days ago...my Leopard Gecko layed an egg...Then she buried it.Will it be able to hatch under sand?She buried it about almost a pound under sand...

  1. That's what they do. Most lizards and snakes lay their eggs underground. So do turtles. I suggest keeping a heat lamp on it all day and leaving a night lamp on it at night. This will warm up the sand and keep the egg cozy.

  3. no it will not hatch. my leopard geckos had eggs before. you need to set up an incubator. it will hatch if you do this. [: good luck!

  4. it will be fine that is just what they do. if you start hearing sounds from under the sand it id the egg telling the mother it is going to hatch so if you hear noises did it up
