About 7 months ago i bought a Brand new PSP . 2 weeks later my brother smashes it over his knee , because he could beat Tiger Woods 06 . I ask him why he did and he said that" You should of known that i was going to do that " So every time i ask him for the money he takes a hissy fit ( He'll even flip out at my mom if she asks him ) Hes only 10 yrs old , and he owes me a total of 260$ . My mom says he'll have to pay me back when he gets a job . That could be for ever , hes only 10 . what should i do? , i can't wait till he is 15 or 16 to get a real job . i do try to beat him up but he is a brown belt in karate sooooo.

  1. he must be punished strongly to avoid doing that again, GO AHEAD

  2. You could ask your parents to create an Ebay account and then sell his toys on there.  You lost your toy, so time for him to lose his - the kid needs to learn.

  3. I think it's time you start "your" karate classes for defencive purposes.

  4. Have a talk with your parents. Ask them to have him do things around the house to earn your money back so you can buy a new one. He's 10, he's able to clean the house, dust, vacuum, mop, clean bathrooms, and such. Make arrangements with your parents, because by the time he's old enough to get a job, the PS2 will be obsolete.

  5. I'd say that until he gets a job, you make him wait on you.  If you want a juice make him get it for you.  If he ever denies doing something for you, blackmail him with the PSP thing.  Sometimes, people tend to get out of hand by demanding everything, so don't have him do too many difficult things for you.  Maybe when it's your turn to do the dishes, have him do it.  That way, in a way, he'll sorta be paying you back.  I don't know about brothers, because I have two older sisters, but I hope this helps.
