I have a Lucky Bamboo plant, I do not see it growing, I am watering it with Mineral water and it does not look yellow but at the same time, does not look like its growing, how do I ensure that it does not die and it grows?

  1. How long have you had it? Just make sure you keep it watered. Nice and wet all the time.

Mine died because I let it dry out but before that it was getting out of control.

  2. O.K -i would follow the advice given so far about reasonable watering & sunlight.(these people have had good practical experience).

~~Then I would ask at a garden centre for bamboo management advice..

~~Then I would do an extensive Google search on "growing & caring for bamboo plants"!

~~I f you are in a cold country like the U.K. ~I would move the plant indoors -esp in winter.

    cheers.

  3. Bamboo likes lots of light, and repotting it in very fertile soil helps. Add some miracle grow, and mix some sugar in the water - helps it grow. Though bamboo does take a long time to grow.

  4. We have bamboo forests here, and a single stick can grow about 2 feet in 24 hours, so just be sure to give it lots of sunlight and don't over water.
