My Mad Catz Bluetooth headset for the PS3 won't turn on, what should I do?

I bought the headset yesterday and I charged it for the 2 hours like instructed in the manual and the red LED turned off to show that it had finished charging. To turn it on the manual said to hold down the call button until the blue LED turned on and you heard a beep. But when I hold it down... The blue LED doesn't turn on. What should I do..? I know it's functioning cos it still charges and the red LED turns on. How do I turn it on... It's the Madcatz 8860.

the same exact thing happened to me.!. madcatz sucks!
