My Magnolia bush has black/brown spots...?

.....My magnolia bush has black/brown spots on all of the leaves. they are slowing starting to curl, turn completely brown and fall off. what is wrong with her? i planted her about 3 months ago, early spring here in my neck of the woods.

  1. This sounds like either scale (if it has bumpy spots), or a fungus.  Either would require treatment with a systemic.

It sounds as if she's gotten a fungus of some kind.Without seeing the plant itself it would be hard to discern what type it is.A good spray on anti-fungus seems to be in order.The best thing that I would suggest is to take some of the affected leaves to your local farm and garden store or farmers co-op..They can usually tell by looking at them what is needed.

    If they recommend spraying with an anti-fungal,be sure to spray under the bottom side of the leave as well as the top.Hopefully it's not too late to save her...Good Luck
