  1. well i had one and i just fed him the flakes i never thought to change his food but he died after 3 months i think they al do but i really wanna get a new one

  2. i doubt there's anything wrong with him. my fish would live on bloodworms if they could.

Like us fish have personaly preferences. the place you bought him from were probably feding him pellets and bloodworms.

If for some reason you want to keep him on flakes, don't feed him anything but flakes for about 2 weeks, if he's hungry he WILL eat it, then give him bloodworms once a week for a treat after that

  3. Bettas aren't usually all that keen on flakes.

Anyway that's like saying my rabbit eats carrots why won't my cat, they are different species and have different needs and preferences.

  4. Sometimes fish prefer to have bloodworms and pellets rather than flakes. Not all fish eat the same types of food. It may be that the flakes you have are for fish that dont eat meat and your fish may be a meat eater.

  5. only feed him flakes, and feed him very very sparingly, eventually he will eat them.

  6. this happenes all the time...just put some bloodworms and when he comes up to eat it..add some flakes...he will get used to it that way
