My Male Parakeet is bugging my female

he's keep nibbling her. sumtimes they dont get along! i dont know if they r getting along

  1. He may just be preening her--birds preen each other if they like each other. If she doesn't like what he's doing she'll get away from him, make angry squawking noises, and/or try to bite him; you can tell an "angry bite" because the bird whips its head forward like a snake when it strikes, and keeps its beak open in a threatening manner before it actually bites. If she just site there and lets him nibble on her, or nibbles him back, and they're both just sitting there quietly, then it's just normal birdie bonding and you have nothing to worry about.
