  1. what kind of answer are you looking for

  2. Sure, just recognize that Krav Maga is generally a joke when it comes to fighting anyone who knows anything about fighting.  There is a reason that almost no one in any professional MMA organization claims Krav Maga as one of their specializations...

  3. thats exactly what imi lichtenfeld did when creating krav maga.

    why not?

everyone does. as long as you dont say..."im teaching goju ryu karate"..when obviously you're not. i dont see a problem with it.

all any self defense instructor can do is teach his version of what was taught to him, injected with his own influence from his experience. sometimes out of respect they call their art something different than their teachers art.

krav maga isnt reckognized by mma beause its not a sport...its a street self defense art. .ie......largely illegal in mma.

krav maga is a joke?...anyone who says that has never attacked a krav maga practitioner.

  4. Yes, Bruce Lee did. (Jeet Kune Do- 7 different styles or something). My styles studied: Isshin-Ryu (Okinawan Japanese-sucks), Tang Soo Do (Korean but too robotic Chuck Norris was my Grand Master but I only met a few times.) Later I followed my master: Neil Citron to learn Tae Kwon Do and Hapkito ( Korean-like it very much.)

  5. Sure, anyone can say they've developed their own style.  There are thousands of styles, many based on things families or single schools passed down over generations.

Now, don't think that this is some kind of thing you can do in a day or week.  It takes a long time and a lot of effort to develop an actual style.  To be legitimate you also should be certified as a Soke.  Think about everything  you learn in a single style to become a black belt.  Document all of it.  Now make up your own.

  6. Most new styles are not really new, just marketed differently in a different time. Just take your krav maga, call it claw mcraw, market it as a new street-lethal military art that soldiers use to kill and you'll attract all the nerds in no time.

  7. There is no such thing as street fighting.
