  1. element

  2. Check your exhaust pipe, where the lint might have built up. Some dryers will shut off the heat if that happens, as a safety thing.

  3. that could stop a gas dryer from heating:

Glow bar igniter, thermal fuse ( not all models ), coils on the gas valve, gas valve, thermostats, motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, sensor.

Hope this helps - good luck!

  4. The first thing that I would check is all the little fuses and heat klixons mounted at various locations on the blower. In order to check continuity you must remove the wires to prevent a false reading. Disconnect the quickplug on the gas carrying assembly. Put some power directly to that connection and see if the glowbar comes on. If it don't then your flame sensor may be bad $22 bucks. Unplug the quickplug on the ignitor and put some power directly to it,if it is open(bad) replace it $22 bucks. If it glows but won't light then the coils need replacement $20 bucks. If the whole gas assembly works ok then the fuse is blown. Check for lint buildup and stopped up vent. I would give ya some excellent sites to go to for better answers but somehow I get into trouble for doing so.

  5. Heat element , or thermal  switch.
