  1. Have you replaced the little white flaps in the horns?  They get stiff and need to be replaced.

  2. That happened with mine and all I did was unplug it and replug it.

Also check to make sure the caps are on tight

  3. The first thing to check is the little white flaps.  You can buy replacements really cheap at a lot of stores or order them online.

Another thing to check is that the hoses don't have condensation built up in them.  A good way to manage that is to let the pump run with just the hoses connected (not the horns) for a minute or two after you finish pumping each time.  I would always leave them on while I cap the bottles and put the horns away.  That's plenty of time if you do it each time.

Their 800 number is really helpful if none of these work!  I think the number is 800-TELL-YOU (or it might be 888, can't recall for sure which)

  4. Do you have a Medela Symphony?  That is what I had, and sometimes the attachments would come loose.  They didn't have to be very loose to stop pumping as strong, so sometimes it was barely noticeable that they were loose.  If you haven't checked that yet try that and see if it works.  I would unhook everything and hook it back up.  Hope this helps!

  5. double check the hoses... seems simple but I finally noticed one came undone and it wasn't pumping right until I reattached.

  6. Have you tried taking it apart and re-assembling it?  Make sure everything's attached properly.  If that's all done properly and you still have problems, you might need to replace the membranes.
