  1. The next time you dream about losing teeth, before trying to figure out what it means, ask yourself how the dream made you feel. Oftentimes, it is not the dream of the teeth falling out that creates the disturbance to the psyche but the feelings that accompany the dream. There is often a feeling of helplessness, of powerlessness--the teeth are coming out and there is nothing the dreamer can do to stop the process.

Sometimes tooth loss dreams point to a fear of failure or embarrassment. In waking life, when people lose teeth, they often cover their mouths when talking or smiling. Is there something you want to do but are afraid of undertaking because you fear you'll look foolish if you fail? Or is there something going on in your waking life that you feel you must hide or 'cover up'?

.......then again you could just be anticipating you gum nd teethwork..

  2. i always knew teeth fallin out meant that something bad was due to happen but if u caught them then you would prevent the event from happening

  3. I think your explanation is very reasonable and rational. Ignore your mother-in-law, she sounds a little nutty.

  4. You are probably right about the dental work.  Maybe you are grinding your teeth at nite?  Or as Freud said "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" -just a dream.

  5. She's just teasing you.  There is nothing magical about dreams.  That said, all your teeth could still fall out.

  6. Lol I would agree with you most dreams have some logical connection with activities in your daily life even if you cant make the connection yourself

of course we both could be wrong and maybe you going to get your teeth stolen by a druken hobo?

  7. Many prominent psychologists (like Freud and Jung) believed that dreaming was a way for your subconscious to communicate with your waking self.
