I've looked everywhere on the net + only managed to download stuff onto my PC.. I'm normally quite clued up, but it's not been simple this time + I have no idea what I'm doing. I've found some sites that ask for around £70 for an update.. But I'm sure there's probably a free way around this? There is with most things. It's just my Mothers SATNAV isn't picking up alot of new roads.. It really needs updating. Does anyone know where I can find free updates? Or do I have to pay?

  1. Unfortunately, you have to pay, Alexandra.  Some map data sources can be converted to a Garmin-friendly format, which takes some work.  On top of that the converted map data cannot be used for routing.  It is easiest to just buy the maps.

  2. you proboly have to pay and also your best bet is going to halfords or something else like them hope you get it done
