My Motherboard wont recognize my Hard Drive

Question

I have a Gigabyte GA K8NSP motherboard i just installed a Samsung HE502IJ hard drive. So at this point i only have 1 hard drive in my computer. I have to install windows on it but for some reason my motherboard is not detecting it. I went into the bios to see it would detect it but it still doesnt. When i power on my computer i hear the hard drive spin so its connected properly. I thought i would need a jumper so i add it but it still wont read it with it on or without it. Please help i need to install windows on this hard drive
