k, so i was sitting on the couch, minding my own buisness (it was a hot day), and all of a sudden, my pocket began to feel iregularily warm, right where my phone was, so i took my phone out, and the back was like really hot, so i took the battery out to let the phone cool down, and i put the battery and phone infrunt of a fan. Later, i put the battery back in, and it got hot again. It is hot if u look on the back and open the battery place, and in the bottem left corner of the area, it is hot. The phone doesnt power up either, all it does is says verizon on the big screen, and the little screen is blue/purple. What is wrong?

  1. It sounds like the battery is either defective or has been damaged in some way. DO NOT PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN THE PHONE!!!! THROW IT AWAY!!! Old or damaged batteries can and do explode. So for your safety I would advise replacing the battery. If it continues take the phone to your provider and have it replaced.
