  1. my mom made me do that before, i also hated it, i was stuck with all these 10 and under kids. they were better at swimming than i was!!! it was soooooooo embarresing. you should have a one on one conversation with your mom and tell her that you don't want to do it and tell her reasons why.

  2. i'd go to a different one  i used to hate it and there were loads of little kidz that were better then me so i just focused and eventually i got faster and faster then i started beating most of the people there

  3. Try to enjoy it...maybe it will get better with time...so give it a little time. My mother did the same thing to me but then I refused to go and I now regret it so much....try to stick with it...it is a good thing and perhaps in a few weeks you will enjoy it !!!!

  4. pretend to drown

  5. Maybe thats why your mum wants you to go swimming, the more you practice the better you will get, its good excersise for you also, she is not doing it to hurt you, but to help you grow, in confidence, so stick at it.

  6. ask your mum if you may go to a dif swimming club but say please and she will probely say yes

  7. Tell your mum, that you'll go swimming alone, but you don't want to be in that club. And go swimming just for fun (or for health). It's not the best solution, but your mum can agree.

  8. just stay on the swim team cause after awhile, yu'll make new friends and after a feww practices yur coach will acknowledge yu and then yu'll be fast so more friends will talk to yu.

    just stay awhile...

  9. Infinitely preferable to drowning. You may thank your Mum one day when you fall into a river and survive!

  10. awww how sad....lol naw my mom jus MADE ME join an aquatic skills class for ppl 13-up. im 19 yu knw how embarrasing that is????? she thinks its gona help me be a good life guard..PLEASE. WHO goes to a swimming class with little kids for that?? i wanna hang myself

    roflmao!!!!!!!!

  11. go but hide in the locker/changin rooms

and i agree with what that one chick says pretend to drown

  12. Gee... I wish my mom had taken me to those kinds of lessons. I never joined any club, sport, lesson or anything. She always said, "I'm not your taxi!"... but it's wrong for your mom to MAKE you go. Sounds like she's doing it for her benefit, not yours. Ask her to put you in some kind of other program that you like. You'd love it and still get to get away from her. LOL

  13. be really bad toward the teachers and stuff and get kicked out? tell your mum you'd rather play a diffferent sport? that you are really uncomfortable there

  14. Why is it so important to your mum? Ask her - in a nice way, try not to be confrontational.  Mums usually want what is best for their kids but sometimes get it wrong.  Look for a compromise, maybe she wants you to make friends? Tell her it is not a friendly club. Maybe she wants you to keep fit? Tell her you would prefer a dance class or trampolining or something you would enjoy.

  15. put up with it until you stop using the word "maked."

  16. no dont do what she said

there are a few things you can do

1 you can tell your mum all about whats happening there about the people being mean to you pr

2 you can tell the teacher look i cant do it and tell them people that are being mean to get stuffed

3 try again and do your best

not everyone is good at everything try something new :)

    holly xx

  17. ask your mom if instead of joining a swim team you could just go swim laps on your own at a local pool. you would be burning calories but wouldnt have to worry about being around the mean people.

  18. tell her how you really feel about swimming, I joined Ice skating and I didn't like it so I told my mom how I felt and now I am doing something else

  19. im with you i hate swimming i dont think it is a sport

  20. You Need To Keep Going. Your Mom Knows Best :D. Work Really Hard And Show That You Can Be good At Swimming And They Will Appreciate You.
