My Mum wont listen!!!!

Question

Everything that goes on in a teenagers head i swear she dont understand. For example... shes going shopping and i need some more sanitary towels so i say "hey mum, you wouldn't mind while your out just buying me some more sanitary towels, im in need of some more.. please, (and hand her some money)" she goes you dont need them.

I have no prob with getting them myself i just dont understand why.

And i ask her and try to talk to her but she just says "your being silly" and walks away!

Another example.. say my mum is going underwear shopping and im going with her.. im like ooh i really could do with a new bra.. and i go find one a like.. she says "you dont need one" and for your information i do need one as i am 32B . And i say to her.. " mum i do, please" and ask her why and shes like you just dont!

Everything like that!

why dont you just buy them yourself without asking her.  if you wanted some towels go with her and buy them.  some parents dont understand what teenagers are going through these days.  if she wont listen then try doing it yourself.

sorry to say this but what you have to do is sit down and talk to her about how you feel. shes a mother, and she´ll probably understand if you tell her what you wrote in your question here. i hope it works!

sounds like she doesn't want her baby girl to grow up. i agree you should perhaps write to her. A letter is sometimes the best way to go.
