My NTLDR Is Missing On My Laptop ?

It says that it is missing and to press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart, but everytime I do this it still comes up and my laptop wont start up, is there anyway I can resolve this ?? so it wont happen again,

  1. use ERD Commander CD to fix it...

  3. One other possiblity is that you have an alternate boot device, for example if you have a USB memory device plugged in, this seems to happen a lot where I work. Some PC BIOS settings will attempt to boot from a USB stick before the hard drive and will not find that file. The other answers are valid, so you should try them all and please let us know which works. Best of luck.

  4. this happends to me all the time. Just put in the windows cd and it should sort it out. or download the correct one from the net and save it on a floppy. put it in and it will also work.
