My Necchi 6030and loopy bobbin thread

Question

I have no idea what I am doing or how to sew. I just made a purse and it turned out okay. Machine ran well. Now I changed thread to sew something else. I did a test seam, and the bobbin thread is all loopy. I have changed the tension every which way and re-threaded the machine a billion times. I am clueless and ready to scream
